Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information OneGuard collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We built OneGuard to be sovereign and auditable for your secrets — we hold ourselves to the same standard for your personal data.

Last updated: July 2026

Who we are

OneGuard ("we," "us," "our") provides cloud-hosted secrets management for developers and teams. This policy applies to oneguard.one and the OneGuard API and dashboard.

Information we collect

Account information you give us directly (name, email address, organization name). Usage data collected automatically (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). Secrets you store with us — these are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they ever reach storage; we do not access the plaintext of your secrets as part of normal operation.

How we use your information

To provide and operate the service, to respond to support and sales inquiries, to send you service-related communications, to detect and prevent abuse or security incidents, and to improve OneGuard. We do not sell your personal information.

How we protect your data

Secrets are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and in transit (HTTPS/TLS only). Every access to a secret is logged to an audit trail. Access to production infrastructure is restricted to the operators of OneGuard.

Cookies and tracking

OneGuard does not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. We may use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. If this changes, we will update this policy.

Third-party services

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to operate OneGuard — for example, network security and content delivery, and transactional email delivery. These providers only process the minimum data necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active, and secrets for as long as you choose to store them. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

OneGuard is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
